While I’m thinking about interesting things to do with my phone…

News acquisition device.
The N95 could be a handy little News gathering device.
Basic video editing included.
Is it possible to record the direction that the phone is pointing? If so, I want that recorded into the Geotags too.
I want to be able to record an interview with someone with the second cam capturing me asking the questions (is it possible to run both the cams at the same time?)
The screen would show both images being captured and an audio levels display.

  1. Technical everything is possible. Just not sold as a consumer product ;-) Including the magnetic compass logging, add a tilt sensor and you've got the most of it. Accellerometers would be cool too!

But I doubt you would like the front camera for recording yourself. Lousy image quality. Still you could tape two N95's together ;-) Two N93's would be even better. Besides two flexible cameras angles are mostly used for the more serious interviews. Get a (extra) girlfriend with a N95 :-P

Stil I think comvu and livespaces had a event with live N95 newscasting. You just need a wificell net and a bit of software. And a battery belt ;-)
