Here is a Google map with embedded video and images.

I had to build it by hand. That includes the purple path I where I sketched out the route that I took.
Why is this so, when I have an N95 and an internet link????

I want a new camera app for the N95 that hooks into the GPS.

  • Pictures and video are all Geotagged,
  • Records audio and Geotags that too.
  • Easily uploads to Google maps (or Flickr or whatever) and 'pins' all the media to the map.
  • Talks to the Map program so I can dial up an image in the photo browser, and ask the mapping program to plot a route to the Geotag of the photo.

A bonus would be if the program saved images in Raw format too.

You and millions of others. It would be great that if you took a picture. The phone would do a quick GPS-lock via AGPS. Taking a minimum of GPS-power, not draining the battery.

Saving in Raw Format would be nice. But at least a setting for tweaking the jpeg compression quality would be great. Take a picture of a grassy knoll and behold, half the grass looks like smears. You can always send an e-mail to ideas (at) nokia (dot) com.
