So we marked the occasion by learning how to make a traditional French bouillabaisse.

The stew is served by placing a ‘round’ of Sourdough French stick in the bottom of the bowl. Arrange a few chunks of fish flesh, add a dollop of garlic/ tomato/ mayonnaise (hand made), and ladle in the broth.
Eat with a chunk of oven warmed French stick.

Real World Avatar

So I have pretty much standardised on a profile avatar, and it's spread all over the place...

Observations on people's avatars:

I've heard it said, that actors like to have their faces as an avatar, Directors go for 'back of head' shots.

Guys seem to like full body shots, girls like 'a close up please Mr DeVille.'

There is no photo of last nights sustainable cooking course, due to chaos.

It was BBQ night.
My team had a fish eyeball eater. She was popping the little jelly orbs into her mouth while we were filleting the fish.
I separated the flesh from the ribcage and ripped out a rainbow trout's spine just like the Predator did, and she said 'why is no one eating the heads?'

Trip down south

Back from my trip to Melbourne, or as I’m now referring to it as….
‘Getting to know my camera in a non-hostile environment.’
Melbourne is great, and deserves it’s title as Oz’s most liveable city.

Since I was experimenting with the Canon 7D, I thought I’d try some multi exposure HDR type shots, and they are here…

Interesting camera interface thang I noticed. Canon gets the photographer to dial in the exposure bracketing, and then, if the photographer desires, switch over to motor drive to suck up the three exposures. This give the photographer the option of triggering the exposures one at a time.
